i was born in los angeles, raised in taiwan, and now back in california to study what i love most: how creative thinking can be used to shape technology — and how technology, in turn, can shape creative work. i’m currently double majoring in cognitive science and data science while pursuing a progressive master’s degree in integrated design, business, and technology at usc.

growing up, i thought i’d be an engineer. but over time, i realized i was less interested in how something works and more in how it makes people feel. i remember standing in front of a storefront in tokyo — a motion-reactive installation that pulsed and shifted as people walked by. it made me feel seen, like the space was acknowledging my presence. that was the moment i realized i wanted to create that feeling for others.

at the heart of everything i do is a desire to create work that resonates — work that tells a story, invites participation, and helps people feel like they belong.
